Child Safety
Updated: September 11, 2026
Children’s safety, privacy and wellbeing are among Ladzi’s core principles. Ladzi is a family service configured and controlled by a parent, legal guardian or other authorized adult. The Child App is not an independent social network or public service for children.
1. Ladzi Is Parent-Managed
A child does not independently create a Ladzi family account.
A parent or legal guardian:
- creates the family account;
- creates the child profile;
- chooses tasks, plans and rewards;
- connects the child device;
- manages access to the family;
- reviews task completion;
- approves reward requests;
- manages child information and account settings.
The Child App operates only within the family space set up by the responsible adult.
2. No Public Child Profiles
Ladzi does not create public or searchable child profiles.
A child’s profile, tasks, plans, stars, rewards, progress and other family information are available only within the authorized family account.
Ladzi has no:
- public child profiles;
- public ratings;
- leaderboards;
- public posts;
- public comments;
- public comparison of children.
3. No Communication With Unknown Users
The Child App is not intended for a child to communicate with unknown people.
The Child App has no:
- public chats;
- direct messages with unrelated users;
- social feed;
- public comments;
- ability to search for other children;
- open user profiles.
Interaction takes place only within the family account.
4. Minimum Child Data
To use Ladzi, a parent may provide a limited set of information necessary to create and personalize a child profile. This may include:
- name or nickname;
- age or date of birth;
- gender, if the parent chooses to provide it;
- avatar;
- profile color;
- tasks and plans;
- rewards;
- task-completion information;
- progress history.
We recommend that parents provide only information truly necessary to use Ladzi.

5. Photos, Voice and Task Confirmation
Some Ladzi features may allow a child or parent to add content related to task completion, such as:
- a photo of a completed task;
- a voice instruction;
- voice or text feedback;
- a task-related comment.
This content is used only for the relevant Ladzi features within the family account.
The parent decides whether such features are appropriate for their family and child.
We recommend not uploading:
- documents;
- home address;
- telephone numbers;
- banking information;
- photos of unrelated people unless necessary;
- other excessive sensitive information.
6. The Child App Is Not Recorded by Microsoft Clarity
Microsoft Clarity and session-recording features are NOT used in the Child App.
A child’s activity in the Child App is not recorded through Microsoft Clarity.
Microsoft Clarity is used only in the Parent App.
In the parent-facing experience, sensitive and user-generated information is masked or excluded from recording where appropriate.
7. We Do Not Sell Children’s Personal Data
Ladzi does not sell children’s personal data.
We do not use child data for targeted or behavioral advertising.
We do not create advertising profiles based on a child’s behavior in Ladzi.
We do not show a child third-party behavioral advertising inside the Child App.
8. Parents Control Their Child’s Information
A parent or legal guardian may manage a child’s information through the family account.
Depending on the available functionality, a parent may:
- edit the child profile;
- manage tasks and rewards;
- view progress;
- delete created content;
- delete the child profile;
- request deletion of related personal data.
Requests can also be sent to: ladziapp@gmail.com
9. Parental Consent and Authorization
If applicable law requires parental consent or authorization before processing a child’s personal data, that authorization must be provided by the responsible parent or legal guardian.
A child must not independently create or configure a family account.
The parent or legal guardian is responsible for having the right to create the child profile and provide information related to the child.
Additional requirements may apply depending on the family’s country of residence.
10. Safe Tasks
Ladzi helps parents organize tasks, plans, habits and rewards, but the parent decides which tasks are appropriate for a particular child.
Ladzi should not be used to assign or encourage:
- dangerous activities;
- illegal activities;
- humiliating or harmful punishment;
- age-inappropriate tasks;
- activities with potentially dangerous tools or substances without adult supervision;
- tasks requiring an adult’s presence without appropriate supervision.
Ladzi does not replace parental judgment and common sense.
11. Rewards Should Be Age-Appropriate
The parent chooses rewards and is responsible for ensuring they are safe and appropriate for the child.
Ladzi does not guarantee that a particular system of tasks, stars, rewards or motivation is equally suitable for every family and every child.
12. Motivation Without Shame or Pressure
Ladzi is built around little wins, visible progress and positive reinforcement.
We do not recommend using the app for:
- humiliating a child;
- threats;
- public comparison;
- excessive control;
- intimidation;
- using already earned stars as a pressure tool.
Stars, tasks and rewards should help a child see the connection between effort and result, not replace live communication with a parent.
13. Account and Device Security
Parents should protect:
- their Ladzi login and password;
- family access codes;
- connected devices;
- payment information;
- access to the parent-facing part of the app.
A child should not be given access to parent credentials or payment settings.
If you believe a family account has been compromised or accessed by an unauthorized person, contact us as soon as possible.
14. How to Report a Safety Concern
If you believe that:
- a child’s information was disclosed improperly;
- an unauthorized person accessed a family account;
- content creates a risk to a child;
- a child’s data must be deleted;
- a Ladzi feature may create a child-safety risk;
please write to us: ladziapp@gmail.com
Do not send unnecessary sensitive information about a child by email.
15. Third-Party Services
Ladzi may use trusted service providers for infrastructure, authentication, payments, email delivery, support and other necessary functionality.
Where these providers process personal data, they must use it only to the extent necessary to provide the relevant services and in accordance with applicable contractual and legal requirements.
The Child App is not intended to show children third-party advertising networks or public social integrations.
16. Changes to Child Safety Rules
We may update this page as Ladzi develops, new features are introduced or the law changes.
If changes materially affect children’s privacy or safety, we will notify parents where required by law.
